Whats the difference between a Real Estate Broker, Real Estate Agent and a REALTOR®

All of these persons are educated, licensed and legally able to act as intermediaries between buyers and sellers of real estate. There are however some fine distinctions between these titles:

A Real Estate Broker is a person who is licensed to sell real estate. They have higher education requirements than Real Estate Agents and have earned a broker’s license after passing a broker’s exam. Jeanne M. Newton is the Real Estate Broker, REALTOR® and owner of Newton Realty.

How long will it take me to sell my property?

There is no measure to say exactly how long it will take for your property to sell. However, as your broker, Newton Realty has access to the largest database of historical sales data in the State of California. In 2014, properties listed in the City of Chico had an annual average of 62.5 days on market; the longest monthly average was 83 days and the shortest monthly average was 52 days (results calculated from 1,106 Chico, Ca listings).
